About a week ago, British author Sheila Patel speaks with Ardain Isma about her novel titled The Pandemic Diary. It is an anthological comedy. The story takes place during the three-week lockdown that were imposed by the British government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The author uses a humorous approach to describe the feelings and emotions of a woman who owns a small corner shop in England. The author explains that the book in a very humoristic fashion illustrates all about the circumstances due to the outbreak from the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the British chancellor Nadhim Zahawi COVID-19 furlough scheme, school closures and panic buying.
